Capacity Building Workshop For Ghana Eiti National Steering Committee On Petroleum Revenue Management And EITI Oil From 27th – 28th April, 2012 At Forest Hotel, Dodowa PDF Print E-mail

The Ghana EITI Secretariat in collaboration with Revenue Watch Institute wish to invite you to a two-day capacity building workshop on petroleum revenue management and EITI reporting templates for members of Ghana EITI multi-stakeholder group/Secretariat.

2.    The training workshop will ensure that members are equipped with the relevant and adequate capacity in order to help them scrutinize the GHEITI Oil/Gas Audit reports to be produced by September 2012. Specific objective of the workshop include the following:

  • Introduce Steering Committee members to the governance of petroleum revenue collection and management, including international best practices;
  • Familiarize members on EITI Oil reporting elsewhere;
  • Analyze the draft reporting templates for Ghana to ensure that they will produce robust and useable information about petroleum revenues; and
  • Generate recommendations of how the templates could be improved, in this iteration as well as possible innovations for future inclusion.

3.    The workshop will take place at Forest Hotel in Dodowa on 27 -28 April, 2012. Participants are expected to arrive on the evening of 26th April, 2012.
